HISTORY OF THE CONFERENCE
Since our first activities, we have proven how the greatest event in a child's life is when they find their own potential and they realize the transcendence of that potential towards others and themselves, in whichever social or economic level, awakening within them an enormous capacity to adapt and overcome obstacles. We have considered putting this realization and the accompanying world that shapes it, under the term TALENT.
Since 1999 the ELIC Foundation has been organizing the grand “World Conferences for Childhood Talent in the Third Millennium.” These conferences have had the objective of bringing together professionals and speakers in education to develop topics in areas such as: learning, intelligence, developing a culture of peace and developing values that allow children to grow in an environment conducive to the authentic development of their potentials. It is then explored how these topics can be applied to help shape children to become universal, tolerant, autonomous, participative and democratic in order to contribute to society.
